iDo iDo Weddings specialise in 'special little weddings' so if your guest list is 50 or less then we can help! Our 'Backyard' and 'Venue' weddings offer cocktail style with serviced canapés or a seated buffet meal.

How do I secure my date and time?
To secure your preferred date and time, a 15% non-refundable deposit is required. We will then require an 'acceptance' online of our T & C's form along with a 40% deposit within 8 weeks of your initial deposit. The balance of the wedding cost is required two months before your wedding.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes we do! Instalments can be made by agreement.
What food and beverages do you offer?
The couple organises all the drinks including alcohol. These need to stored in large chilly bins with salt ice. The chilly bins need to be delivered to the Backyard and easily accessible for our staff. iDo iDo provide grazing platters as part of our package however most couples add on canapés or a hot buffet.
Some venues allow you to BYO and charge a corkage per guest. Most venues offer Bar service and the couple can put a tab on the bar. iDo iDo provide grazing platters as part of our package and couples add on a hot buffet if their wedding is held in a Reception Room or Hall. If the wedding is being held at a Restaurant or Function facility with onsite caterers, the couple can order from their menu options.
Can we personalise our ceremony?
Our Celebrant will discuss with you how you can personalise your ceremony and your vows.
Can we bring items that are special to us?
We style the venue beautifully so you shouldn't need to add anything extra however, you can certainly bring some personal items by negotiation. Some couples like to bring items such as; taonga, cultural, religious, sentimental, framed photos of family members, bubbles for blowing and party favours for your guests. Any items brought in will need to be removed at the end of your wedding. No confetti allowed. If you have a seating plan and name cards, iDo iDo can place these out for you.
When will we receive our photos?
Our photographers are meticulous about editing and proofing your photos and will endeavour to send your images digitally via email within 4 weeks. You have the freedom to use them as you like within our terms and conditions.

What will our cake be like?
iDo iDo Backyard & Venue Weddings
10" + 8" inch two tiered cake, iced in butter cream or naked finish and two flavours.
We have lots of different flavours to choose from. The cake is topped with fresh flowers or we can order an acrylic or wooden topper instead. Left over cake will be boxed for you to enjoy later!
Unfortunately, due to the Food Safety rules, we must provide all food consumed at our events.
Who organises the music?
iDo iDo Backyard & Venue Weddings
We provide a large blue-tooth speaker that can sync with any device. One of your guests will need to manage your music.
Can we visit the venue before the wedding?
View by appointment only.
Are children welcome?
'Backyard' and 'Venue' weddings
Children under 5 are free and not counted towards your guest total unless they are requiring a place setting for a serviced buffet.
Is our marriage legally binding if we're from abroad?
Our Celebrant can help you out with any questions you have about this.
Do you hold weddings for same sex marriages?
Yes! In New Zealand, same sex marriages are legal, and our celebrant can assist you with how to check if your marriage is legal and binding in your country of origin, if you have come from abroad.
What if it rains?
iDo iDo Backyard Weddings
The client will need to make the final decision regarding hiring a marquee. This will incur extra costs of hiring, erecting, deliver and pickup.
Public Holiday & Special Dates
Weddings on a public holiday may incur a surcharge.
Can I postpone my wedding?
Yes you can! Sometimes life throws a curveball and you simply cannot get married on the day you booked. We are happy to postpone your wedding to a later date with no loss of deposits if we are given 3 months notice or more in writing.
